That’s what Sibila Galanis brings to Raised Media Co. as our new Director of Visual Content. Her work in commercial photography blends visual artistry with intentional storytelling. From fashion shows and portrait photography to high-pressure campaigns, Sibila shows up with a camera and a point of view.
A former model with a background in fashion and art, Sibila has worked in front of and behind the camera in New York, Paris, and Milan. That perspective matters. She understands the flow of a shoot, the stakes, and what it means to make someone feel powerful on the other side of the lens.
If someone’s trusting me with their image, it’s not about control, it’s about care. That moment in front of the camera is vulnerable. I know that because I lived through it.
Raised in Central Asia and shaped by time in France, Italy, and the U.S., Sibila brings a global eye to her work. Her experience navigating international campaigns, fashion weeks, and editorial photoshoots allows her to blend visual language across cultures. And that fits right in with our philosophy at Raised Media Co. While we’re based in NYC, we go where the story needs us.
