We weren’t on the carpet, but we were in the chaos that led up to it. At the Aman Hotel, Raised Media Co. captured the behind-the-scenes prep of Adrien Brody and Georgina Chapman as they got ready for Met Gala 2025. This is what fashion looks like before the flash.

Met Gala 2025 was a night of structured silhouettes, sharp tailoring, and personal statements. But the story we captured happened hours before anyone stepped onto the carpet.

Inside the Aman Hotel on Fifth Avenue, we documented the controlled chaos that brought Adrien Brody and Georgina Chapman from suite to spotlight.

This wasn’t a typical fashion shoot. It was a precision-timed dance between glam teams, last-minute fittings, and a looming forecast of rain. No retakes. No staging. Just real people making high fashion happen in real time.

Elegance, Tailored to the Theme

This year’s theme, “Tailored for You,” paid homage to Black dandyism and the evolution of superfine tailoring. It set the stage for one of the most creatively tailored carpets in recent memory.

Adrien Brody wore Fear of God: black satin T-shirt, draped trousers, a tailored overcoat, and a glittering floral brooch to pull the look together. It was polished without being fussy, a nod to refinement with enough edge to stand out.

Georgina Chapman, co-founder of Marchesa, designed her own gown — a sculptural duchess satin piece featuring a rose drape detail that wrapped along the skirt and an illusion corset bodice. The look was delicate and architectural all at once. She completed it with Lorraine Schwartz jewelry and a full Charlotte Tilbury makeup suite, glowing from the brand’s Magic Cream and Flawless Finish Powder.

This marked their fourth Met Gala appearance as a couple, but both go back decades with the industry. Chapman’s long-standing connection to Anna Wintour was evident, but the real story here was the prep behind the poise.

Controlled Chaos at the Aman

There’s no such thing as “calm” on shoot days like this.

Our team stepped into the Aman with a lean gear load, lightweight camera setups, and a plan that could adapt to whatever curveballs came with the weather or the wardrobe. Stylists were steaming. Hair was mid-curl. Audio was hot. Every corner of the suite was a different kind of operation.

Behind-the-scenes video production means being invisible and everywhere at once.

We captured the tiniest details — a brooch being pinned, a hem being smoothed, a moment of calm while makeup was touched up. We got full team coordination, creative calls, wardrobe movement, and candid dialogue all happening at once.

It’s fast, it’s intuitive, and it’s the kind of shooting Raised Media Co. is built for.

This Is Our Kind of Shoot

Run-and-gun production like this isn’t a headache to us. It’s a specialty.

We were founded as an experiential video production and photography agency — built to document live, high-pressure moments with real-world grit and clean, cinematic delivery.

Sure, we can do large commercial productions with call sheets and controlled environments. But this kind of shoot - the in-between, the chaotic, the behind-the-scenes magic, is where we thrive.

It’s what sets our fashion videography apart.

The Value of Behind-the-Scenes Coverage

Most brands underestimate how much their story lives in the prep.

Everyone sees the Getty image. What they don’t see is the 12-person effort behind the fit. The artistry of a stylist making one adjustment with five minutes to go. The quiet intensity of a designer seeing her gown come to life on herself.

This footage builds brand equity. It gives texture to a narrative. It humanizes the fashion process while still capturing it with clarity and elegance.

If you’re a designer, a creative director, a publicist, or a brand partner, this is the content your audience actually connects with.

Met Gala 2025 will be remembered for the red carpet. But for us, it’s the hallway hustle, the creative conversations, and the elegance under pressure that made the story.

If your brand lives in the moments before the big moment, we’re already aligned.
