One day on camera. Months of content.
Editorial-grade interviews. Brand-owned outcomes.
A guided, professionally shot interview that turns one hour with your founder into an evergreen library. No podcast required.
Trust has a face now. Your buyers want to see the founder. Most founders hate being seen.
Faceless doesn't sell
Buyers, investors, and customers won't commit to a logo anymore. They want the person behind it: the vision, the why.
Founders are busy
Nobody wants to prop up a phone and press record, or host a weekly show on top of running the company.
So the story goes untold
The companies with the best stories stay invisible, while louder, lesser competitors fill the space.
You don't need a year-long content strategy. You need a conversational guide.

"My job is to get the line they didn't plan to say. The one that actually builds trust."
The right facilitator changes what an executive is able to say, and how. The same questions from a different person get different answers. Cate has spent years across the table from founders, CEOs, and chiefs of staff, getting people to open up on camera. The interview skill is the product.
Real stories. Real executives.
Excerpts from real Story Sessions, each hosted by Cate Jarrett. The room, the pace, and what a founder sounds like when the interview works.

The best stories are the least visible.
You know your company. The founder is the whole differentiator, and the competition is still invisible. Here is why the story never gets made.
A weekly show trades the executive's time for every single episode. Enthusiasm fades by episode four.
Real production budget, a compelling story, and little to no in-house team to turn it into anything.
Told to "start a podcast" three times over. The wrong tool for a founder who needs the outcome, not the treadmill.
Built for the real economy.
Small and mid-cap companies with real production budget, a story worth telling, and no easy way to tell it.
$10M to $300M
Enough scale to invest, small enough that the founder is still the face of the brand.
High-trust categories
Health care, insurance, wellness, B2B services. The unsexy, high-trust corners of the economy where a face changes everything.
Invisible on purpose
A leader who is the differentiator but has never been positioned as one, while lesser competitors get seen.
Outcome, not tasks
You want the deliverables and the reach, without adding one more thing to a founder's calendar.
Three ways to get an exec on camera. All three are broken.
Press, your own social team, or a crew with no interviewer. Each gives you something, and each leaves the real asset on the table.
Press or a publication
Your social team
A production company alone
A skilled outside interviewer with your POV in mind, backed by broadcast-quality production.
- +Outside voice, inside alignment. It doesn't read as an internal memo, but the conversation is built around what you need said.
- +The interview skill is the product. The billable asset is the line the exec didn't plan to say.
- +You own everything. The angle, the footage, the edit, the clips. Forever.
- +Days, not quarters. Social-ready across every platform in a matter of days.
One craft, two editions.
The same interview skill and the same production engine, whether we build a room for you or bring it to where your industry already is.

Executive Story Sessions
A set built for you in your city. One controlled, undistracted day on your schedule.

Story Sessions: On Location
SXSW, NYFW, F1, Tribeca. Your executives are already saying their smartest things in rooms with no cameras that belong to you.
The panel was for the room. This is for everyone else.
The production side, handled.
Host, creative direction, and full production and post under one roof. One strategy call, one conversation map, one team on the day. You show up. We take care of the rest.
Studio or your city
A professional set built in your location: a studio space or a controlled setup on site, scouted and lit before you arrive.
Broadcast quality
DP on site, a multi-camera setup, proper lighting, and clean broadcast-grade sound. It looks and sounds like the brand you are.
Best-in-class post
Our editors cut the anchor film, the feature pieces, and a full clip library sized for every channel you need to fill.
Multi-platform delivery
Everything is delivered ready to upload, framed and captioned for each platform. No extra step between you and posting.
Directed, not just filmed
Creative direction from first call to final cut, so the footage serves a story instead of piling up as raw clips.
One point of contact
Our team runs the whole line, from pre-production through production and post support.
One hour of conversation. Months of material.
Founder story film
The 3 to 4 minute anchor. The challenges, the pitfalls, and why you built it.
Feature pieces
How it works, why it's different, the things you always come back to.
Short-form clips
Cut and framed for every social platform, ready to post steadily for months.
Sizzle cut
A tight highlight built for speaking engagements, events, and the top of a pitch.
Then there's the long tail: white papers, LinkedIn posts, newsletter essays, investor updates. One session feeds the pipeline for months.
Show up for one day. Everything else is handled.
Four steps from first call to a finished library. Your time commitment lives almost entirely in step three.
Strategy call
What your audience needs to hear, the content you need most, and the conversation map to get there.
Setup
Professional production in your city. Studio space, DP on site, broadcast-quality picture and sound.
Interview
Guided by Cate. You talk like a person. We move between structure and flow to get the right moments.
Edit
Best-in-class post. The anchor film, the feature pieces, and a clip library cut for every channel.
Questions, answered.
The practical questions leaders ask before booking. If yours isn't here, bring it to the strategy call.
Where do you shoot it?
In your city, or on location at your event. We build the set where it's easiest for you: a studio space we secure, or a controlled setup on site. Either way, it's scouted, lit, and sound-treated before you arrive, so all you do is sit down and talk.
How much of my time does this take?
One production day, and a 30-minute strategy call before it. The interview itself runs 45 to 65 minutes. That is the entire ask of the executive. Everything before and after sits with our team.
Why not just start a podcast?
A podcast is a weekly commitment that trades the executive's time for every episode, and it usually fades by episode four. This is one day, and the library posts for months. You get the outcome without the treadmill.
Why not let press interview us instead?
Take the press too. This isn't instead of earned media. But press serves their audience with their angle, and you keep none of it. This is the version you own: your angle, your channels, your library.
Our social team already covers our events.
Keep them. They cover the event. We capture the conversations. Coverage tells people you were there. A great interview tells people who you are. Different job, different skill, different shelf life.
Why does the interviewer matter?
The same questions from a different person get different answers. Cate has spent years across the table from founders, CEOs, and chiefs of staff. The job is getting the line the exec didn't plan to say, and making people who would never call themselves "good on camera" sound like themselves. That line is the asset a crew with a question list can't get.
Who owns the footage?
You own everything. The angle, the footage, the edit, the clips. Forever. Evergreen, not ephemeral. Use it across every channel you run, indefinitely.
Can you cover our event or conference?
Yes. Story Sessions: On Location embeds a host and production team at SXSW, NYFW, F1, Tribeca, or your own summit, single or multi-day. Your executives are already saying their smartest things in rooms with no cameras that belong to you. We turn that into an owned library, captured while it still matters.
How soon do we get everything back?
You're social-ready within days of the shoot, with the full library and long-form films following through post. We set exact dates on the strategy call so you can plan your rollout around them.
Take one day. Own the story for years.
Engagements are scoped to the moment: a studio day, an event weekend, a festival run. Start with a 30-minute strategy call to scope your session.
